Epoxy floors for new-build garages
The house is finished, but the garage is still bare concrete that leaves dust on everything you store. We grind it back, fill the cracks and install a flake floor that wipes clean and copes with hot tyres. It's the job we do most in the new estates around Springfield and Ipswich.
Shed and workshop floors
Sheds get the same grind, prime and flake system, sized up for hoists, boats, bikes and benches. Book the garage and shed together and we can do both in one visit, so the floors match. For heavy-duty workshops, see commercial epoxy flooring.
Garages that double as a gym or games room
If the garage is also the home gym or the kids' play space, a coated floor makes it feel like part of the house. Spills and sweat wipe straight off, and flake gives you grip underfoot. Want the same finish inside? Have a look at residential epoxy flooring.
Why epoxy beats paint, DIY kits or bare concrete
Preparation makes the difference. We diamond grind the slab, repair cracks and prime before coating, so the system has a sound surface to bond to. The right preparation and coating system matter more than simply painting over bare concrete.
How we install an epoxy garage floor
We grind the slab, fill cracks and chips, prime, install the base coat and broadcast the flake. A clear topcoat seals it in. We're fully licensed and insured, with QBCC licence 15442363.

Epoxy garage floor FAQs
How long does it take to epoxy a garage floor?
Most garages take 2 to 3 days. That covers grinding, crack repairs, primer, each coat and the curing time between them. A slab that needs a lot of repair can take longer, and we'll give you the timeline when we quote.
How long before I can drive on my epoxy garage floor?
Generally, allow approximately 7 days after the final coat before driving on your epoxy garage floor. The exact time depends on the specific product and conditions. We'll confirm the walk-on and drive-on times for your chosen coating and tell you when your garage is ready.
What's the best epoxy for a garage floor?
